Correction in Brass Band News November 1933 states - "I notice the Long Eaton contest is wrongly reported in B.B.N. It should have read : 1st Stanton Ironworks, 2nd B Winning and Blackwell Colliery, 3rd Holme. Long Eaton did not competed" H.Evetts.
