Bands are awarded an unpublished 'raw' score for each discipline, on the basis of which points are awarded for each discipline - decrements of 1 pt from 25 for 1st place for both march and hymn; decrement of 2 pts from 50 for major work.
In the event of a tie, raw scores are compared to break the tie.
