Cantons (Areas) of Zug, Schwyz, Uri, Obwalden and Nidwalden decided to organise an Area for Central Switzerland together and make it one big
Music Festival, as their separate Events got less Participants and Input in the last Editions. This replaces the traditional Format of 'Kantonales Musikfest'
for the mentioned Areas of the Innerschweiz.
This happens without Lucerne which keeps, due to great Tradition of Wind/Brass and a lot of Bands competing, their own Area Championship.
