From feedback: "Cowling Temperance Prize band sprang from Temperance foundations and records date from 1897. Cowling is in Yorkshire, a small village 7 miles west of Keighley.
I estimate that they became defunct appox 1948/1950. I know that between 1943 and their demise they did not contest."
