From British Bandsman August 20th 1949 - T.Radcliffe and Co., the manufactureres of Moderna blankets took over Cragg Vale and Mytholmroyd band in Feb 1948 and gave them 12 months to prove their worth. On 1st January 1949 changed name to Moderna Blanket Works. Band had ceased by April 1956 (Brass Band News April 1956)
