European Championships

Set Works are written every Year by a chosen Composer from the host Country:
for the Championship Section (first held in 1978), the Challenge Section (established in 1994) and the Youth Contests (see separate Contest Group, established in 1989 and revived in 2014) . Also many Own Choice Works are premiered at this Championships.

The first 5 Editions were held at Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London.
For the 50th Anniversary (2028) EBBC returns to London, at Royal Festival Hall, Lambeth.
