Oxford Annual Contest

First organised by the Headington Silver Band (later under their changed name of <a href="http://brassbandresults.co.uk/bands/city-of-oxford-silver-band/">City of Oxford Silver Band</a>) in 1926. Suspended during the war years, it resumed in 1948, running each year until the final event in 1970.
