Bands from all gradings were judged together, but played partially in order of grading - the four Third Section bands (ZO, Koblenz, Marthalen, La Tanne) played first, followed by the lunch break. Then, the two Second Section and two First Section bands (2nd: Junior Valaisan, Sulgen; 1st: Breitenbach, Wil) played.
Each band played a 30 minute programme consisting of three pieces - own-choice test-piece, hymn, and set test-piece. The set test-piece varied according to the section of the band; 'Legenda Rumantscha' was set for the 1st Section bands, 'Fantasia sur Conta Tudi' for the 2nd Section bands, and 'Porta Alpina' for the 3rd Section bands.
