Got the following Info:
A history of Dalmellington Band on "oocities.org" says they played a contest in (early) 1947 where they came 7th from 8 bands. Tom Yates conducted the test piece Divertimento by Eric Ball.
On your records if you select the 1947 Scottish Area (fourth section) Divertimento the results page says it is third section - and no Dalmellington Band.
