Hugh Whitham
Born Horsforth, Leeds in 1846. Solo cornet for Wyke Old band 1873. Started conducting Wyke Temperance in 1877.
1884 started to assist Gainsborough Britannia and in 1885 Batley Temperance. Died June 1927
