Ar Lan y Môr is a Welsh love song which translates simply as 'On the sea shore'. This arrangement begins with muted euphonium lamenting over a traditional Celtic drone featuring bowed vibraphone.

This arrangement was made for David Childs and first performed by him with the National Youth Brass Band of Wales in their 20th anniversary concert at the Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
