Lord of the Lake 2022


Lord of the Lake is a work in three separate movements that tells the legend of the "Sea of Flines.
Stéphane Coquet, conductor of the Flines-lez-Râches Wind Orchestra, commissioned the work to celebrate the orchestra's 140th anniversary.
The piece can be performed either on its own or with a narrator who recounts the legend between each movement: children and their parents punish the cruelty of a prince holed up in his castle.
