Angus (Council Area), Scotland, UK

The historic county of Angus, which was known as Forfarshire until 1928, occupies the same territory as the combination of the modern-day council areas of Angus and Dundee City. Both were subsumed into the region of Tayside from 16th May 1975 to 1st April 1996.
