Notes

This band was known as the Infant band beginning in 1917 when Mr. Sam Whitaker converted the Junior Naval band into a distinctive body naming it the Federals. The first win was in 1917/18 and again in 1927 when they lost by 1 point in C Grade. The band again lost by 1 point in C Grade in 1930. In 1933 Mr. Whitaker conducted 2 bands in Maryborough the Federal and Maryborough Town.

The band absorbed the Maryborough Naval band in 1938.
