With a first prize of £750, podium awards of £400, £200 and a 'Most Entertaining Performance' prize of £200, there is also plenty of cash up for grabs too.
The contest will start in Shirebrook Town Park at midday - and with no registration, and free entry open to contesting and non-contesting bands, it is being held to encourage bands to come and enjoy the musical experience of providing a 30 minute entertainment programme.

Once the contest as taken place it would be appreciated if someone from each band would undertake to inform me of their programme. So that it can be included on the website.
